PRICE OF BEER
ACTION BY WELLINGTON WATERSIDERS. HOTELS DECLARED BLACK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The Wellington watersiders held an informal meeting this morning and decided to accept the challenge of the Licenced Victuallers’ Association, that the beer boycott would be a nine days' wonder and that they would be back in the hotels after that period. It was decided to declare all hotels "black" until the price of bee)- was brought back to foinpcnco a "handle."
The motion was carried by an overwhelming majority of the nine hundred present at the meeting.
