HOLE IN ONE. Mr V. McKeague holed in one at the 7th hole (132yds) at the Wharemoukou golf course yesterday. The achievement was duly celebrated. MAHUNGA CLUB. LADIES' COMPETITIONS. The L.G.U. monthly medal round was played on Saturday, in conjunction with the 3rd net aggregate, the following being the best scores:—Mr;A. H. Ward, score 86. handicap 19 total 67: Miss N. Smith 103, 34. 69: Miss L. Goodall 110. 36 74; Mrs W. Hendr? 112. 36. 76; Miss B. Taylor 96. 19. 77: Miss E. Samson 97. 19 78; Mrs L. M. Roach 99. 21. 78; Miss E. Calwell 105 27. 78. The semi-finals of the captain’s trophy were completed at the weekend. the following being the results: — Miss E. Calwell beat Miss I. Rudd 3/1 Miss B. Taylor beat Mrs A. H. Ward 3/2.
