PEACE MADE BY ARAB TRIBESMEN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 3. In Amman yesterday, at the instance of Amir Abdullah, the tribal heads ol two sections of the Howeitat tribe which inhabits southern Transjordan met and concluded a peace in settlement of a feud which had existed between them since 1912. During the war one section of the tribe, the Mataleka, joined the Turks, and the other section the Tawayeh, threw in their fortune with the late King Feisal.
