BRITISH NAVAL MISSION TO TURKEY.
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 3. An exceptionally warm welcome is being accorded the units of the British Fleet now visiting Istanbul and Smyrna on the invitation of the Turkish Government, and in the Press, which refers to the British Fleet as the guardian of the Mediterranean, it is regarded as another sign of the close Anglo-Turkish co-operation for the maintenance of peace and security. Admiral Sir Andrew Cunningham will fly to Ankara tomorrow in a Turkish airliner.
