WOMEN’S INSTITUTE ("Times-Age” Special.)
In the absence of Mrs McKay (president) Mrs E. Wellwood (vice-presi-dent) occupied the chair at the monthly meeting at which there was a failattendance of members.
Mrs Smith gave a very interesting, talk on her recent holiday tour of the North Auckland districts which was much appreciated. Miss C. Cooper gave a demonstration on uses of an old separator bowl. The competitions resulted as follow: Decorated tumblers. Miss M. Turley 1. Mrs Bubb 2. Knitted gloves. Miss N. Wyeth 1, Mi's Wyeth 2. Mrs Joblin and her helpers served afternoon tea.
