TINUI v TYNESIDE. ANNUAL FIXTURE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual fixture. Tinui v Tyneside. was played at Tyneside during the weekend under very wintry conditions. Rain, sleet, hail and snow fell during the day and a strong southerly wind harrassed those players who were hardy enough to play during the afternoon. Tinui were unfortunate in losing the match for had the ladies played off their singles and had all the men's singles been finished without recourse to the toss of a coin the score may have been entirely different.
