GREYTOWN
MOTOR CAR HITS COW VEHICLE DAMAGED. ("Times-Age” Special.) An accident occurred on the Main Road at Ahikouka last night about 5.30 o'clock when a motor car driven by William Albert Voyce, of Masterton, ran into a cow. It is stated that a drover, E. Gray, was driving two cows towards Greytown and when opposite the residence of Mr H. R. Feast one of the cows crossed the road right in front of the car. It was just dark enough for cars to have their lights on. The front of the car was damaged and one mudguard ripped off. A passenger in the car, Mrs Flaws, of Masterton. received bruises on the face. The Maori concert held in the Town Hall last night was a decided success, and was greatly enjoyed.
