CHARITY BALL

AT MASTERTON ON WEDNESDAY. The Wairarapa Charity Ball, which will be held in the Municipal Hall, Masterton, on Wednesday next, August 2, should .prove one of the most enjoyable functions as far as the dancing patrons are concerned, as no effort is being spared by the various committees to surpass all previous efforts. His Grace Archbishop O’Shea will receive the debutantes at 8.45 o'clock. The ladies' committee are giving special attention to the supper and a very effective decorative scheme is being arranged. The music will be supplied by Messrs Udy's full dance band, and Jack McKay's dance band, so that the maximum pleasure may be had by those who attend. The price of admission is the same as previous years. 5s each. The M.C's. will be Messrs J. Hunter, W. Orange and Ben Iveson who have acted in a similar capacity for many years.
