The annual ball of the Kaiparoro Rifle Club was a decided success, the large attendance spending a most enjoyable time. The president of the club. Mr C. Welch, thanked those present for attending and also those who had assisted on the rifle range and at social functions.

WEEKLY COMPETITIONS

The weekly meeting of the Eketahuna Miniature Rifle Club was held last night when the second shoot of the four-weekly handicap competition was continued.

The A grade weekly button was won by F. Sigvertsen with a score of 64. The B grade was won bj' H. Walton with a score of 68.
