MORISON’S BUSH
EUCHRE AND DANCE PIPE BAND GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) Another successful euchre party and dance organised by the Women’s Committee of the Wairarapa Pipe Band, was held last Monday night in the Morison’s Bush Hall. The profits are to go towards the Band Uniform Fund. The euchre, prizes were won as follows: —Ladies: Mrs Hill. 1; Mrs Mclntosh, 2. Men: Mr McCardle, 1; Mr Yeomans, 2.
The Statue Veletta was won by Miss M. McPhee and Mr M. Knutson.
The music was supplied by Mrs Rodgers (piano), Mr Knowles (violin), and Mr S. Hall (kettle drurn). Extras were played by Mr Mclntosh (accordion) and the Pipe Band. Mrs V. Gustofsen secured the winning ticket for a guessing competition and received a pair of hand-knit-ted socks.
Mr S. Hall carried out the duties of M.C.
