FESTIVITIES AT SAMOA
THEIR EXCELLENCIES KEPT BUSY
BEAUTIFUL WEATHER HOLDS.
VISITS TO MISSIONS & SCHOOLS.
(Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) APIA, July 26.
Visits to the Methodist Mission headquarters and the girls’ school at Faleula, also to the Catholic Mission at Moamoa, were paid this morning by their Excellencies. This afternoon- they will visit th'e Avele School for Boys. Faipule and other leading Samoans visited the Achilles in the morning and the ship was open to visitors in the afternoon.
Tonight there will be a ball at Government House. A boxing tournament is being staged between men from the ship and local men this evening.
Beautiful weather still holds and their Excellencies are enjoying wonderful receptions everywhere, but are having a very busy time fulfilling all Che engagements on their programme.
