Riding two winners at the Kensington meeting yesterday McCarten has taken the lead in the jockey’s premiership. Mclvlenamin and Lappin each rode one winner. In the final allotments two dead-heats will be taken to equal a win.

The Moorefield Club will present the winning jockey with a silver cup valued at fifty guineas after the last race on Saturday.
