INDOOR BASKETBALL
WAIRARAPA v MANAWATU. MATCH IN MASTERTON TONIGHT. A keen contest is expected in the Manawatu v Wairarapa indoor basketball matches which will take place in the Y.M.C.A. hall tonight at 3 o’clock. Palmerston defeated Wairarapa by 1-1 to 13 last time they met. and it is expected that Wairarapa will reverse the position on this occasion. It is anticipated that the games will produce keen, hard play. The decision o’’ Manawatu to send down a ladies’ team has added interest to the contest. The following will represent Wairarapa: Ladies’ section: Misses P. Kilmister. R. Eastwood. M. Eastwood. 13. Stitt. J. Gemmell. A. Burgess. Men's section: Messrs D. Leete. D. Costello. W. Wickens, J. Broome, W. Renyulds Yee Jing.
