BADMINTON
WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. TOURNAMENT AT MASTERTON. An energetic committee have arrangements well in hand for the Wairarapa Badminton Association’s fifth annual championship and handicap meeting to be held in the Drill Hall. Masterton, from Wednesday, July 26, to Saturday, July 29. The tournament will commence on Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock sharp, when handicap events only will be played. All players entered in handicap events will be required to be present, and if not ready to play when called upon will be scratched. Players are requested to notify the secretary or the official in charge on their arrival or departure . Any information relating to the tournament will be given by committee members wearingofficial badges.
Owing to the large number of entries, players are urged to be ready to go on the courts when called upon. Supper will be available at a nominal charge, and will be served at the far end of the hall for both spectators and competitors.
