He had been bragging to a girl friend about his powers as a runner. Suddenly a gust of wind whisked off her hat and carried it down the street, yet he made no attempt to retrieve it. Girl (indignantly): "You are such a wonderful runner, yet you can’t get. my hat!" Young man: “Just a minute! I must give it a hundred yards’ start.”
