LATE MR DANIELL

METHODIST MEMORIAL SERVICE. A tribute to the late Mr C. E. Daniell as a leader of youth work for well-nigh half a century was paid at the memorial service held in the Masterton Methodist Church last night by the Rev F. J. Parker. There was a large congregation and the choir rendered by special request the anthem, “Crossing the Bar.” At the Sunday School in the morning, the children stood in silence as a mark of respect to Mr Daniell, who for such a lengthy time had been associated with Sunday School work as superintendent. The children sang Mr Daniell’s favourite hymn. “Pass It On.”
