DAUNTLESS EVANGELISTS

VISITORS TO MASTERTON DURING WEEKEND. SALVATION ARMY SERVICES. The Dauntless Evangelists, of Wellington, who visited Masterton during the weekend, aroused considerable interest as they marched through the streets on Saturday and all the services held at the Salvation Army Hall were largely attended. The occasion was a red letter one for the local corps of the Army. The party, 40 strong, was in charge of Brigadier Sydney Smith, Principal of the Salvation Army Training College, assisted by college officers, Major Blincoe, Captain Spillett, Captain Chalmers and Lieut. Johansen. Yesterday’s services were outstanding in every way. In the afternoon pictographs were given by the cadets of experiences in training work in Wellington and at last night’s Gospel service a splendid address was given by Cadet Benson. Excellent piano solos were rendered by Miss L. Dutton.
