MEETING OF TEACHERS
INTERESTING TRAVEL TALK
(“Times-Age" Special.)
The Masterton branch of the New; Zealand Educational Institute held its monthly meeting in the Featherston School when Miss Keddell, Greytown, presided over a good attendance of teachers from Masterton. Carterton. Greytown. Martinborough and Feath erston. as well as the country districts. At the conclusion of the business of the meeting Miss Allen. Masterton gave an interesting talk on her travels and experiences in Western Australia. Vocal items were given by Mrs J. A. Willett and Miss Stansell. Supper was supplied by the staff of the Featherston School. EUCHRE AND DANCE PARTY AT PAHAUTEA. Owing to the rough weather on Saturday night the attendance at the Pah■ autea euchre party and dance was not as good as usual. The prize winners in the euchre tournament were: Ladies, Miss I. Freu 1. Mrs Parker 2. Men. Mr J. Warrington 1. Mr G. Cuoka 2. The Monte Carlo was won by Mr Smith and Miss N. Cade.
