MEETING OF COMMITTEE. Mr R. Whyborn presided over a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Wairarapa Returned Soldiers’ Association held in Carterton last night. Also present were Messrs H. G. Alexander, H. J. Brass. L. S. Nicol, L. T. Wylie (Masterton), C. A. Chennells, A. T. Murray (Carterton); N. C. D. Mason and F. Craig (Martinborough). The financial membership for the present year to June 6 was shown as 468 (including 8 new members elected at the meeting). It was decided to hold the next meeting in Greytown on August 8.
