There are no signs of Polish nerves shaking. Poland firmly believes that the British and French stand has checked German action. The circulation again of hoarded silver is one indication of a temporary relaxation of tension. The Press continues to emphasise the necessity for vigilance and for armed preparedness. The tone of Herr Foerster's address left the impression that union with the Reich is less urgent than hitherto. The weekend passed quietly.
