QUEEN INTERVENES
FORMATION OF CABINET IN HOLLAND ACTION VITAL IN VIEW OF DANGERS. DR COLIGN NOT ALLOWED TO WITHDRAW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) (Received This Day. 12.30 p.m.) THE HAGUE. July 7. Queen Wilhelmina summoned defence chiefs and a former governor of the Dutch East Indies for consultations in respect of the formation of a new Government as, in view of the dangers in Asia and the Dutch Indies, it is considered vital that the country be no longer left without a Government. The Queen refused lo grant Dr H. Colijn's request that he be relieved of the task of forming a Cabinet.
