OBITUARY
miss jessie mcintyre. Tire death occurred this morning of Miss Jessie Mclntyre, at the age of 84 years. The late Miss Mclntyre, who was born in Perthshire. Scotland, came out to New Zealand 38 years ago. On her arrival in this country she took up her residence in Masterton, where she had lived ever since. The late Miss Mclntyre, who was unmarried, | was held in high esteem by those who/ knew her. She is survived by three nephews, Messrs J and A. Miller (Masterton) and T. Miller, postmaster at Ohaeawai, North Auckland and by two nieces. Mesdames A. E. Baker and R. Henderson, of Palmerston North. An- j other niece. Mrs S. Pragnell. of Masterton. predeceased her a few days ago. The funeral will take place on Monday. and will leave the chapel of | Messrs Hyde's Funeral Service. Church i Street, at 10 a.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
