COLD SNAP AFTER FLOODS IN VICTORIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, July 5. Floods over wide areas in Victoria have not receded and the rain has ceased. The weather is fine but bitterly cold and snow is covering all the highlands. With the temperature in the city at 35.9-degrees, this morning was the coldest of the year. The maximum for the day was 52. Frosts and fogs are forecast. Ample snow covers aff ski-runs, and the various resorts are crowded with followers of the snow sports.
