FEATHERSTON
FAREWELL PARTY PRESENTATIONS TO MR SCHOU. ("Times-Age” Special.) A party was held recently at the residence of Mr and Mrs W. E. Jeffrey to bid farewell to Mr Kenneth Schott, who left Featherston today to start business in Dannevirke. During the evening presentations were made to Mr Schott by Messrs J. Wilson and Jeffrey, who extended the best wishes of those present for Mr Schon’s future success. Mr Schon suitably replied. The gathering was brought to a close with the singing of Auld Lang Syne. Personal Items. Messrs Eric Pringle and T. Hindley, are Wellington visitors to Featherston. Miss Connie Jeffrey, of Wellington, was in Featherston for the weekend. Miss J. McKenzie was a week-end visitor to Featherston. Mr and Mrs Hutchinson, of Welling- ' lon, were weekend guests of Mrs G. Harkness. National Party Dance. The committee of the National Party arc working hard to make the dance on July 31 a success. Special attention is to be given to the preparation of the floor and to the supper while : first-class orchestra will provide the music.
