CHIEF EVENT TO HUNTING MINT. BLUE TIGER WINS STEEPLES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE. July 2. The Dannevirke Hunt Club's annual meeting was held on the Dannevirke racecourse on Saturday in overcast, but fine weather. Though rain fell throughout the day in neighbouring districts it remained fine at the course, and the racing was got off under favourable conditions. The track was easy, and inclined to cut up near the rails. The totalisator handled £7758 10s, compared with £5560 last year, an increase of £2198 10s.
