WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
BALL AT PIRINOA. AN OUTSTANDING' SUCCESS. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a very large attendance at the Women’s'lnstitute ball on Tuesday night, when visitors were present from all parts of the Wairarapa as well as Wellington and Napier. The hall was tastefully decorated and credit is due to Mrs Malcolm McLeod and her able assistants, the ladies’ committee of the Institute. In fact the whole organisation worked assiduously to make the function the outstanding success it was. The dance music was supplied by Tom Udy’s Dahce Band, while extras were played by D. McGregor and M. Johnston. Mr Stan Mclntosh was M.C. Among those present were: Mes-
