YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB

MEETING IN MASTERTON. PRESENTATION TO MEMBER. A special meeting of the Masterton Young Farmers’ Club was held recently. Mr D. McGregor was in the chair.

A presentation was made to Mr O. Wyeth in view of ,his approaching marriage. IMr Wyeth suitably replied. Arrangements for a trip to the Wallaceville labora-

tories were finalised. The members

who are to make the trip are notified that the bus will leave the Masterton Post Office at 7.30 a.m. on July 6. Lunch will be partaken of at Petone. A member who went on the South Island toui’ gave an interesting address. On the motion of Mr D. Blatchford, a vote of thanks was passed to the speaker. Supper was later, served.
