At Toowoomba the local debaters defeated the visiting New Zealanders by 187 points to 178. The visitors affirmed: “That an adequate defence system suitable for Australia and New Zealand, is both undesirable and impracticable.” Mr W. R. Peachey partnered Mr M. O'Callaghan.
