QUARREL IN AMERICAN SENATE. ATTEMPT TO RAISE PRICE OF SILVER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 26. As a result of a quarrel within the Senate over an attempt to raise the price of domestically mined silver, Senators representing silver-producing States have combined with so-called Conservatives to repeal the powers of the President to devalue the dollar after June 20.
