INFLUENZA IN SAMOA
MILD BUT WIDESPREAD EPIDEMIC. VERY FEW DEATHS REPORTED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) APIA. June 22. An influenza epidemic is raging in Apia and in neighbouring villages. Schools have been closed and communication with Savaii has been stopped. So far the epidemic has been mild in form and very few deaths have been reported.
