WIN FOR BLOMFIELD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 18. In a return wrestling match at the Town Hall on Saturday night between Lofty Blomlield, Auckland, and Jack Donovan. America. Blomfleld was the winner, obtaining the only fall of the match in the eighth round by means of a body press following a series of elbow jolts. BERGAN BEATEN BY POLLARD. NEW PLYMOUTH, June 18. Charlie Pollard, 15.3 (New Zealand). beat Earl Bergan, 16.2 (Sweden), by two falls to one. in a wrestling match on Saturday night. The bout was full of dramatic incidents and quick reversals of position. Bergan gained the first fall after jolts and hatches, but fell an easy victim in the third, when he was dazed by a barrage of dropkicks. The bout terminated suddenly in the fifth with an injury to Bergan. when he refused to submit to a Japanese armbar.
