MAHUNGA CLUB. LADIES' MEDAL ROUND. A medal round was played by the lady members of Mahunga Club on Saturday, the following being- the best cards.handed in:—Miss B. Taylor, score 89, handicap 23, total 66; Mrs D. A. Hunn 105-36-69; Miss P. Madsen 96-22-74; Miss E. Calwell 101-27-74; Miss E. Samson 94-19-75; Mrs L. M. Roach 97-21-76. The following were the best cards returned for the bogey competition plaved last Saturday:—F. R. Brown, 3 up; L. J. Thompson, 2 up; I. McFarlane, 1 up; A. O. Jones. 1 down; L. M. Roach. 1 down; R. B. Hendry, 1 down; S. Jenkins, 2 down; H. Hill, 2 down; B. V. Bodie, 2 down; R. B. McPherson, 2 down. Of the five players requested to play off to decide the four last positions in the captain’s trophy competition, the following have qualified: H. Hill, 69; B. V. Bodie, 69; A. H. Ward. 70; C. Sandbek, 73. BIDEFORD CLUB. COMPETITION RESULTS. In a medal net aggregate competition played on Saturday the following were the best cards handed in: S. Falloon 72 R. Falloon 72. A bogey competition played in conjunction with the captain’s trophy competition on Sunday resulted in a win for R. Plummer with 1 down on bogey. The following matches were played: First round: J. Donald beat H. Bell. Second round: R. Plummer beat C. Sandbek; S. Falloon beat G. Peterson; C. Percy beat R. Lendrum; A. Kerr beat H. Smith. Third round: J. Donald beat J. Bell; R. Plummer beat G. F. Candy: S. Falloon beat C. Percy. The following matches in the second round must be played by July 9: R. Wearne v D. Wellington; G. Joy v E. Wrigley; G. Falloon v C. Faulknor; D. Falloon v J. Thornton; R. Smith v L. Donald; W. Batty v R. Falloon.
