ST. MATTHEW’S GIRLS’ CLUB

ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING. GOOD YEAR ANTICIPATED. Judging by the interest and enthusiasm displayed at the annual meeting of St. Matthew’s Girls’ Club held last evening, the sixteenth year of . the club’s history should be as happy and successful as those that have already passed. The president, Mrs E. J. Rich, presided and welcomed old and new members. Arrangements were made for the usual games and competitions to be held each Tuesday for members in the Parish Hall,“and it was decided to enter at once on rehearsals for the annual concert of the club which will be presented on Wednesday, August 2. Miss B. Judd was elected hon. secretary, and Miss J. Purcell hon. treasurer.
