SCHOOL ASSOCIATION EUCHRE TOURNEY WINNERS. ("Times-Age" Special.) The Home and School Association’s euchre tournament which was held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall was well attended. The prize winners were: Ladies, Mrs. Rewai 1, Mrs. J. W. Holland 2; men, Mr. A. Jury 1, Mrs Crawford 2. MOTOR DRIVERS NUMBER OF LICENCES ISSUED. The number of motor drivers’ licences issued by the Featherston Borough Council so far this year is 482. For the year 1938-1939, there were GBS issued. Personal Items. Miss K. CTapshaw, of the Dannevirke Hospital nursing staff, is spending a few days’ holiday in Featherston. Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Bloxam have received cabled advice that their son, Mr. John R. Bloxam, who joined the Royal Air Force, has been successful in gaining his “wings” certificate. Mrs. J. Anderson has found it necessary to enter the Kelvin. Hospital for treatment. Mrs. Hookham. who has been the guest of Miss Betty Murphy, has returned home.
