BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP
FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. REGULAR SUNDAY SERVICES ARRANGED. Rev Hayes Lloyd, of Lower Hutt, presided over the fortnightly meeting of the Baptist Fellowship held in the Oddfellows’ Hall last night. Seventeen members attended. Following upon the visit' of representatives of the Central Auxiliary last week arrangements have now been completed to commence, on the first Sunday in July, regular Sunday morning services in the Y.M.C.A. Arrangements were also made for a cottage meeting at the home of Mr and Mrs W. Teeboon on June 17 to listen to an address by Miss E, Coad, a missionary on furlough from' India. The Wellington Baptist churches have agreed to release their ministers in rotation to take the Sunday services, and the Rev E. Nicholls, of Wanganui, has also offered to come through and take services.
Mr W. Teeboon gave a short resume of the Central Auxiliary meetings that were held in Palmerston North over the weekend. A visitor to the meeting was Mrs G. V. Edwards, of Lower Hutt.
