INTER-HOUSE COMPETITIONS. ' LAST NIGHT’S RESULTS. The Indoor Inter-house Basketball competition was advanced a further stage last night, some exciting games being witnessed. The standard of play was considerably higher than in the past. The results are as follow: — Ladies. Y.M.C.A. 28, United 18. W.F.C.A. 24, Rovers 12. Lancers 32, McDuffs 4. Woolworths 16, C. Smith’s 8. Men. Y.M.C.A. 9, Reliance B 1. ' Reliance A 10, Borthwicks 5. Scratch team 11, W.F.C.A. 5. Pirates beat Loan and Mercantile by default.
