NEW ZEALAND EARNINGS OF RICHARD CROOKS. SINGER SAYS HE TOOK AWAY ONLY FOUR SHILLINGS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Richard Crooks denies that he took more than four shillings out of New Zealand. “I would like to know where it is,” said Mr Crooks, when shown a message from New Zealand stating that he had taken out of that country every farthing that he had earned during his Dominion tour.
