LONDON FIREMEN

Kb.VIE.WbD BY THE DUKE OF KENT. DISPLAY IN HYDE PARK. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 3. An immense crowd gathered this afternoon in Hyde Park to witness a review by the Duke of Kent of the London Fire Brigade and the London auxiliary fire service. On the review ground 20,000 men and women auxiliaries' were inspected by the Duke, who, with the Duchess of Kent, drove round the ground in an open car. After the inspection there was a parade of 70 vehicles showing representative types of all peace and wartime fire-fignting appliances, and this was followed by a display of fire drill and other demonstrations.
