The intention of the Government to appeal from the judgment of Mr. Justice Callan in me test case brought by E. Jackson and Co., Auckland, against the Collector of Customs for wrongful detention of imported goods under the Import Control Regulations, was announced on Saturday by the Attoi ney - General. Mr. Mason. Application for a fixture for the hearing of the appeal will be made at the next sitting of the Court of Appeal at Wellington, which begins on June 12.
