FEATHERSTON COUNTY
APPOINTMEN I ASSESSOK. MR T. 0. HAYCOCK ELECTED. (“Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting held in Martinborough this morning, convened by the Featherston County Council, Mr T. O. Haycock was appointed assessor to the country under the provisions of the Valuation of Land Act. There was an attendance of 89 and Mr H. Harding, County Clerk, presided and explained the purpose of the meeting. The voting was: T. O. Haycock 73; R. W. McLean 12; A. Linton 4.
