JOHN BARRYMORE PLACED IN OXYGEN TENT. • By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. CHICAGO. May 31. John Barrymore, who had a heart attack, compelling cancellation of the play in which he was appearing here, was placed in an oxygen tent “to facilitate breathing,” but the physicians declared that his genera] condition was much improved. His illness is attributed to exhaustion. His wife, Elaine, who is in Hollywood, declared her readiness to fly to his bedside if his condition becomes serious.
