SYDNEY, June 1. The engine-drivers and firemen this evening accepted the terms arrived at' in the compulsory conference and decided to return to work on Monday. The settlement proposals, formulated at a compulsory conference and accepted by the strikers, provide that the grievances shall be referred to arbitration.
