INDEPENDENCE RECOGNISED BY JAPAN. IN VIEW OF RELATIONS WITH GERMANY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright TOKIO. June 1. It is officially stated that the Foreign Minister, Mr. Arita, has advised the Slovakian Government that Japan is formally recognising Slovakian independence. He added that this is regarded as a natural .step in view of the special German-Japanese relations.
