DRUIDS’ LODGE
QUARTERLY MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The quarterly summoned meeting of the Druids’ Lodge was held in the Foresters’ Hall, Masterton, last Monday night, the A.D., Bro. F. Gray, presiding over a good attendance of brethren. The lodge decided to accept an invitation to attend the installation of Tptara Lodge officers on June 6. 'The secretary reported that thirteen brethren had declared on the sick benefit of the lodge and favourable reports were received on their condition. The A.D. extended a welcome to several old members who attended the meeting. Further correspondence relative to the Social Security Act and maternity bonus was dealt with. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £46 Ils Id were passed for payment. . The nomination and election of officers resulted as follows: —J.P.A., Bro. F. Gray; A.D., Bro. N. G. F. Keightly; V.A.. Bro. Swinn; 1.G., Bro. R. Hills; 0.G., Bro. J. R. Donovan; A.D.B.’s, Bro. A. Russell and Bro. W. Pike; V.A.B.'s, Bro. Marshall and Bro. Pawson; M.C., Bro. C. A. Pickering; musician, Bro. C. Mills. The officers will be installed by the District President. Bro. Stretton, on next lodge night, when members of other lodges will be present.
