“HOUSEMASTER”
MASTERTON LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY. PERFORMANCES THIS EVENING AND TOMORROW NIGHT. Tonight and tomorrow night, the Masterton Little Theatre Society will present in the Opera House, lan Hay’s three-act comedy, “Housemaster, ' a production that had a notable success in London, where it ran for 663 performances. It is not a farcical comedy. The humour is mostly of the unconscious variety and the underlying theme is quite serious. “Housemaster” is being produced by Mrs. Peggy Mirams and the stage manager is Mr. T. C. Wynne. The society created a most favourable impression with its first production of the season staged some months ago, and patrons may rest assured of another highly entertaining evening when they witness “Housemaster.” Membership of the society entitles a member to two tickets for each of the three plays to be presented every year, so that those who have enjoyed the society’s productions so far would do well to become members. There is also a family concession membership fee.
