BOGEY COMPETITION. WON BY MRS LOVEGROVE. (“Times-Age” Special.) A bogey competition was played on the Gumgrove links on Wednesday afternoon and resulted as follows: —Mrs Lovegrove, 1; Mrs McCarly, 2; Mrs Benton, Miss Williams and Miss Jule Ruane, 3. The match against Carterton has been postponed till next Thursday. Miniature Rifles Teams. The following are the Featherston Miniature Rifle Club's teams to fire against Carterton on Monday at Featherston:—B. Williams, A. McKenzie, Miss G. Brash, W. Johnston, W. Cook, A. Reed, E. McKenzie, J. Buck; J. Johnston. Miss J. Brash. A. I-lodder, K. McKenzie. I. Feast, Miss P. Nix, T. Browne. QUEEN CARNIVAL. SOCIAL AND DANCE. The third and final social and dance given by the High School girls for the Blue Queen (Miss Anne Fellingham) was held in the Parish Hall on Wednesday night when a very pleasant time was spent in games, competitions and dancing. Mr Alex. McLeod was M.C. and Mr J. Buck supplied the music. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr J. Thurston and Miss M. Tait. Miss Anne Fellingham thanked all those who had helped to make the socials tendered on her behalf so successful. ALL DAY MATCH. WITH PIRINOA TEAM.
