DEATH ON THE ROAD
MOTORIST BEFORE COURT IN OTAKI. MAGISTRATE DISMISSES CASE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OTAKI. This Day. Daniel George Fraser was charged yesterday that on March 27, on the Wellington-Palmerston North Highway, near Te Horo, he di.d negligently drive a motor-car, thereby causing the death of William Roach. After hearing lengthy evidence, Mr A. M. Goulding, S.M., dismissed the case. Senior-Sergeant Mclntyre appeared for the Crown and Messrs H. F. O’Leary, K.C. and Evan Parry for the defence.
