ENJOYABLE CARD TOURNEY. (“Times-Age” Special.) Rongomai has an outstanding name for the excellence of its social functions and particularly enjoyable are those fortnightly card tournaments and dances for which the district is so noted. On Saturday night there was a large attendance of districts residents at the card party which was a - very social gathering. The winners were: Ladies, Mrs L. Eagle 1, Mrs O. H. Cooper 2. Men. Mr W. Evans 1, Mr R. McGlashan 2. After supper the floor was cleared for dancing which was kept going till mid-night, the music being supplied by Miss D. Rolls, Messrs C. Judd, A. Wake, and W. Evans. At the party held a fortnight previously the winners were Mrs J. Davie and Mrs J. Reid and Messrs Fulton and John Evans. BUSH RUGBY UNION.
