LADIES’ GOLF
TOURNAMENT AT LANSDOWNE. TODAY’S RESULTS. The ladies of the Masterton Golf Club commenced a tournament at the Lansdowne links this morning, the results being as follow: — Open championship (qualifying players): Miss S. Collins 86, Miss J. Hornabrook 86, Mrs A. B. Martin 89. Miss D. Todd 90. ‘Miss E. Barton 95, Mrs T. A. Horner 95, Miss M. Pearce 96, Mrs W. Turnbull 98. Lansdowne Handicap (qualifying players): Miss E. Jury, Mrs Alan Park, Miss P. James. Mrs S. Burridge, Miss Mary Maunsell, Mrs P. J. Borthwick, Mrs Holden, Mrs F. Tatham. Masterton Handicap (qualifying players): Miss J. Wrigley, Mrs B. P. Perry, Mrs P. F. Fagan, Mrs E. L. Nitz, Miss Nix, Mrs R. H. Plummer, Miss N. Garrick, Miss L. Beetham. The senior medal competition was won by Mrs A. B. Martin, 89-11 -78, and the junior medal by Mrs F. Tatham. 101-24-77. The tournament is being continued this afternoon.
