(Received This Dav, 12.35 p.m.) LONDON, May 24. “The Times” Geneva correspondent says the gist of. the Anglo-French proposals regarding Russia has been sent to London, where Lord Halifax will explain them to Cabinet on May 24. It is understood that they largely meet. Russia’s ease for a Three-Power Pact, involving a declaration that an attack on one involves an attack on all and demanding prompt cooperative defence. A decision can also be taken if smaller States are attacked,, to hold a consultation covering other eventualities. The League delegation is sanguine regarding an early Anglo-French-Russian agreement. It is understood that the Polish and Rumanian Governments are satisfied with their current arrangements with the Western Powers.
